I absolutely LOVE the FFFFOUND! website, because not only are most of the images of great quality artistically, but it keeps track and links you to other artists who you might find interesting. I also love that the site has such a variety of styles and subjects, both "fine art" and graphic. However, this site is full of nudity (not so great for a school atmosphere). I'm still trying to find some sort of filter, but I don't think it's available on this site. But this is certainly something I could pull images from for my own Powerpoints or handouts, etc. that I give to my students (pre-filtered!)
PicoCool is another really great site for images, especially because the images can be categorized so you're not spending an entire week sorting through the entire database. This site is also full of industrial design examples, for those students who like to sketch out functioning objects. It also provides the source link, which a good idea for further investigation.
